Re: Applying for change of employment early

I think I found the answer in the policy guidance https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/477879/Tier_2_Policy_Guidance_11_2015.pdf eventually. In case it is useful to anybody: When to apply 192.You must apply within three months from the date your Certificate of Sp...

Hello, I'm on Tier 2 General and I know I will be switching employers. My current visa lasts till 28th of May, however I want to apply early in case there are some errors in the application / typos / clerical error etc, so I'll have enough time to reapply in things go wrong. My new employer has alre...

Re: Restricted CoS and the salary requirement

One question: Are you switching from PSW to Tier2 or you are extending your Tier 2. If switching from PSW to Tier2 then the required salary is £24000 Otherwise it is £29800. The salary is calculated for those who work 39 hours a week. No, as I said, I do not satisfy any of the criteria for the new ...

Re: Restricted CoS and the salary requirement

My analysis is it should not be a problem as I have noticed that for experienced worker is 29,800/- If you have got a COs then it means the UKBA has accepted the salary.Obviously they are going to provide the visa for you. I will say 27,000 must be accepted as good one for position.. If A rated spo...

Re: Restricted CoS and the salary requirement

safajnaseef, Thanks for a quick reply. What about the claim that 29'800 is a maximum salary requirement? Does restricted CoS work any differently? My sponsor said there was a panel with Home Office regarding the Resident Labour Market test, does it possibly deal with specific salary for each CoS ind...

Restricted CoS and the salary requirement

Hello, I'm reapplying for Tier 2 General out of the country, and the sponsor has provided me with "Tier 2 (General - New hires - restricted)" CoS after undergoing a Labour Market Test. In CoS it states the salary being slightly over 27'000 a year which got me concerned. For my speciality (...

A somewhat related question, what if the dates on the statements for those accounts are different? For example I have one account covering first 2/3rds of the required term, and the other account covering last 2/3rds of the term (but neither statement covering the full period). Will that still work?...

why are you not appealing anyway? I have contacted several law agencies and it looks like there is no legal ground for an appeal. Well, I decided to leave the UK and reapply from my home country. I still haven't got any of my documents back and sarimapa suggests they have been retained by the UKBA. So how am I supposed to reclaim them?

It doesn't say it in the refusal letter, is there a guidance for it?

By the way, on the letter confirming the application UKBA stated: "Please do not send any additional documents to us unless requested to do so by a caseworker." Does that somehow apply to my situation?

Graduation certificate received with an ongoing application

My graduation certificate has been recently delivered to my place, while I already had an application submitted with original letter from the institution (date of the award: November 1st 2010, saying certificate is usually issued within 3 month, date of an application : 22 of January 2011). I was th...
