Is there any way of contacting HCI London? There doesn't seem to be any sort of email address or phone number.. well forget phone number they never pick up anyway! I sent my application 2 weeks ago and there hasn't been any acknowledgement of it. On the website it says it takes maximum a week.

Yes I did. I posted my passport with status print-out, as well as the receipts originally given when applying along with an self-addressed prepaid SDE. Sent it by SD and received it within a week.

I applied in Birmingham by the way.

Has your photo/signature been scanned? Did you apply in London? YES,IT SAYS PHOTO/SIGNATURE SCANNED ON 29 NOV 2010,AND I APPLIED IN LONDON PASSPORT OFFICE. It could be because your photo was rejected. I remember reading something about it on the HCI website. If the photo is rejected, you have to se...

A 2 pound consular surcharge for each application. Yes, I am applying in London. But people from Birmingham cannot apply in London. The website make it very clear. It doesn't actually say that. It says "GBRB (Birmingham) application/s will not be accepted in HCI, London". Does that not me...

Re: My OCI final timelines.

1. The Indian High Commission has cleaned up the act with OCIs, these being handed out within weeks, if not days. So that is a positive sign. With London maybe, but with Birmingham it takes ages (in my experience, as well as looking at others in this forum. My dad has just got back from India, he h...

I made an OCI application for me and my father in Birmingham, in person, on 25th January. The thing is, I changed my surname, and my dad has also changed his first name (don't ask!) so the woman at the counter got a little confused and said my father might need an interview. (It's all genuine though...
