I was also wondering about this, as it seems a bit different from ILR dates. I came to UK on 01/01/01 on a tourist vi...

We had a form from Council few months back for people in the house to sign for voting and after carefully reading all of it, I didn't see any provision for me, non-UK, non-EEA, non-Commonwealth citizen... To vote in an election or referendum, you must be registered on the electoral roll. Who can reg...

Why DVLA?

I am thinking HMRC, DVLA, registrar of electors... Anyone else?

Thank you in advance

There are different requirements depending on your nationality.

I will be applying to the London visa office for a visitor visa.
Is a Police Clearance Certificate required with the application as well?

I went through proper immigration control on arrival to Dublin port from Holyhead. Got a nice chat and a lovely green stamp. I find this visa waiver a bit of a joke, in respect that it applies to visitors but not to long term residents... My experience though is that arriving in Dublin by air, you d...

Re: IRIS

I've just made a note in my spreadsheet next to those absences when I returned through the IRIS. They should have a record and you shouldn't have to ask for it. If one has used IRIS to enter the UK, is it sufficient to state so on the list of absences spreadsheet, whilst applying for ILR. Surely, th...
