I paid by bankers draft and it was fine. You are right. Pay to Home Office. They should get payment the same day as the cheque is guaranteed by your bank. Thank you. I will be using the same in Croydon as well. Can you answer this - I need to take £1326 banker's draft since I have paid £100 already...

Not necessary...
You can address the letter "TO whom so ever it may concern"
it won't create any issues...

I have done it in the past and will be doing again for my ILR in a month's time
