No need to worry. Home office has all the record. If you remember your initial application date then input that into UKBA calculator and take that printout with you while applying for extension.

There is no option for SET(O) in the ukba calculator. So you need assess you self as if you were applying for tier 1 extension.

Thanks sushdmehta.I have seen some more topics in which people were expecting 2 year but got 3.I think its based on case worker discretion as they have every record of us in their system. Any way I am happy with 3 years :)

No fix date but try to get letter with in one month of application.So if you are applying on 15 Sept 2013 the letter should be between 15 Aug to 14 sept.
