hi all.......when i put my initiall application date of applying tier1(general) which is 17 march 2010 (date i posted the application) in the UKBA calculator ...i was 28 than and than put my age 30 in the calculator it gives only 5 points....wat am i doing wrong here....... you should put your age ...

YES (I did the same and got extension)

B) for english language requirement can i use master's degree?

If it appers in PBC then yes.

Normally its a good practice to include cover letter when you are applying by post and if you are applying personally sometime CW may or may not ask for cover letter.

Nope employer letter is not mandatory requirement. You can include it if you have but not mandatory.

@abi3282 -- Leave it blank.
