They will give you passport on the same day if every thing goes fine with the approval letter. No body can guess or read the mind of caseworker to tell you that they will keep your passport or not.

It looks like they have misprinted it on the dependent form. So instead of K3 it should have been N3.

Getting passport won't be a good idea as this would mean you are withdrawing your application.
Also HO won’t entertain your query unless its with them for more than 6 months. So only thing you can do is wait.

N1. The level of funds you must have access to depends on the length of time the main applicant has been in the UK.

So that mean main applicant can show his/her funds for dependent.

Hope this helps.

I applied for me and my wife’s visa(2nd feb 2012) as she is housewife so i was her sponsor. So i showed my funds (bank statement) for both extensions. You need to sign section 5 in dependents form:-

SECTION 5 - CONSENT TO BE GIVEN TO UKBA BEFORE REQUESTS FOR VERIFICATION ARE SENT TO THE BANK

I assume you are applying for your dependent extension so the most recent would be when you applied for the initial grant which was in your home country. So the reference number would be red number and the date would be when you applied for your initial grant(date when you paid the fee at VFS). Hope...

HO wants two piece of proof to prove your earnings, so if you are not going to provide your bank statement then how you are going to prove it?

You need to provide last 12 months of bank statement to prove your earnings. So its your salary slips and bank statements to prove the same.

The application date for the initial application was :-'5th March 2009' and this is the date when you paid the free so you will get 30 point for the bachelor degree. It doesnt matter what is the start date on the visa what matter is the 'DATE OF APPLICATION' so in you case its '5th March 2009' .

@sherkhan297 :-Have you even searched the forum for your query ?

If you initially satisfied the requirement with "taught in English" then it will be same in extension. So no English test for extension.

PS:-Please search the forum first before posting any query.
