Re: Naturalisation and English Language Requirements

@blackeyed What service you are requesting from NARIC?

I have just applied for the NARIC certificate as well and it was asking for degree certificates and transcripts (consolidated marksheet) only.

Thanks,

Re: Naturalisation and English Language Requirements

@ blackeyed, why do you need to write the test?

You can use NARIC service and just get a letter from them to confirm that the degree is taught in english.
The letter from the university is no longer relevant as per the current application form. Am I missing something here?

Thanks,

Re: Naturalisation and English Language Requirements

Hi, I have raised the same question here as well. http://www.immigrationboards.com/british-citizenship/degree-in-english-for-naturalization-t208807.html#p1345861 I did some research and have talked to Home office as well. I think they no longer accept PBS print out so we need to get a letter from NA...

Re: Degree in English for Naturalization

Hi Geriatrix, Thanks for pointing out the link. I did read through it and from that it seems you have to have a NARIC certified letter. But If I check on this link https://www.gov.uk/english-language/degrees-in-english It specifies as below. You’ll need your original degree certificate and one of th...

Degree in English for Naturalization

Hi, I have received my ILR last year and eligible for Naturalization from May 30th. I have used the Medium of instruction letter from the University, along with the degree certificate and also the PBS which shows my university is recognized by NARIC. I am wondering whether these documents are good e...

Re: Tier 1 Dependent Visa Extension - Outside UK

If their previous visa was still valid, I don't think there would be risk as their visa status would be continuous.

Re: Point Base Calculator - Tier 1 General - URGENT

You need it for english language requirement. So you can even choose Tier 2 option from the PBS calculator, as long as your university is shown in the PBS calculator it should be fine.

Re: ILR application

AFAIK, If it is FPN then you have to wait only for 2 years in that case in 2016 you would be well passed those two years.

Other experts can correct me if I am wrong here?

Re: ILR Application for Dependants - Break in continuous sta

Hi Amiya, There should not be any problem in applying ILR for the dependants as long as you don't have break in their visa status. if you are planning to go for PEO then just don't mention anything about that long period of stay out of country if in doubt they would ask and you can provide evidence....

Re: NEED HELP IN E-PAYSLIPS

Hi,

Just get them to mention in the reference letter that all pay slips will be e-payslips. it should be fine. I did something similar and no questions asked.

All the best for your application.

Re: PBS dependent extension questions

Hi, 1. You might be able to do it, but it might turn out to be very tricky, as she is going to be applying for PBS dependent she needs your pay slips, bank statements, fund maintenance information and possibly your passport and BRP card as well. so best would be to apply for yourself first and then ...

Re: ILR Application in April 2015

Hi, 1. Looks okay 2. looks okay for her as well. Yes LIUK pass is still valid. Use SET (O) form, just one form for both of you, mention your wife as dependent in your application. For the list of docs you can search the forum as lots of postings mention about the documents that can be used. Cheers, ...

Re: apply for ILR and extension for dependent

If her Tier 1 dependent visa is starting from Jan 2015 only then I think it would be better to switch her to FLR as you would save on fee for her as it is costlier for Tier 1 dependent. My advise is get your ILR and then apply her as ILR dependent which will reset her clock for fresh 5 years, since ...

Re: Missing documents when passport returned from HO

Congrats on the ILR and sorry about the degree certificate. I would suggest you call up HMRC customer care and check what should be done. Most likely they would request you to raise a document return request and get your degree certificate.

Thanks,

Re: Names query in LIUKT Booking

I think you are okay as long as your name is exactly same as BRP. I believe it will be matching passport as well where you won't have any middle name in that case it is better to leave it as it is.

Re: Tricky ILR Eligibility Situation (Wife and Daughter)

Hi,

Is there any gap in her visa during this period? If her visa was valid throughout her stay in india then she should be eligible for ILR in Aug 2018.

Re: Questions Regarding ILR

Strictly speaking your child won't be eligible for ILR along with you. She is eligible only after your wife is eligible. Also you don't need them to switch to FLR (M) if you do that then their continuous residence will reset and your wife has to spend another 5 years for ILR. Both your wife and chil...

Re: apply for ILR and extension for dependent

If your wife doesn't qualify for ILR then you need to extend her as Tier 1 General dependent then i would suggest you do it close to her expiry date as her next visa extension granted only will be for 3 years and she needs to be qualified for ILR with that extension itself.
