Re: Applying ILR for child Seperately

Hi CR001, I am kind of taking a chance with my ILR and if I get it successfully I am going to apply for my daughter and if I am unsuccessful then I wouldn't be able to apply it anyway. I am minimizing the risk I am taking at first shot. If I lose my application I will lose a lot on visa fees. Regard...

Really sorry to hear about your case TIER1AUSSIE. I have another question along the lines I am planning to do ILR for myself and my wife first. Once we got ours I am planning to do it for my daughter. After reading through yours slightly worried whether this will be off problem?

Validity requirement for Tier 1 depedant

Hi, I am trying to find whether is there any minimum validity of the Tier 1 main applicant visa to be there before applying for a tier 1 dependent visa from outside UK? Say if the main applicant visa is expiring in another 3 months can the dependent apply from India for Tier 1 dependent visa. is the...

Hi lawabidingimmigrant, I was also trying to get my NI statements and the letter I received also mentions I need to make a payment of some amount in order to be eligible for state pension. Not sure whether this will affect ILR yet. Have you found out any more information on it? haiksuresh/argus7, Do...

Hi,

Just you need the absence letter from the employer and your wife doesn't need it. I am assuming you are currently in Tier 1 or Tier 2 visa category.

Re: SET(O) 7.11 How long you have lived in the UK?

Hi, I think you can mention the actual entry date as your date of entry but mention the 90 day visa start buffer in your covering letter. It shouldn't be a problem. http://www.immigrationboards.com/indefinite-leave-to-remain/ilr-with-visa-less-than-5-years-home-office-clarification-t180198.html All ...

Re: british passport for my new born baby

Hi Ravi, If I understand correctly this is what you can do. get both of your ILR. Register your children using MN1 form and then apply for british passport later. For the first child you can return the indian passport once you applied your british passport. There is no requirement to apply for india...

Re: payslip problems

Hi,

Just do what madnan24 have mentioned. I also had my name spelled wrongly in my first pay slip, I basically got a letter from HR saying that the name was spelled wrongly in that particular payslip. I did this for Tier 1 General renewal, shouldn't be any different for ILR.

Re: Extension or ILR??

you are eligible to apply for ILR before your Tier 1 expiry, since you have entered within first 90 days of getting entry clearance. I hope you didn't cross more than 180 days in that first year. Experts can confirm my understanding.

I am no longer a Tier 1 visa holder, so how long the Tier 1 dependant visa will be valid for my wife? on what basis they will give the expir...
