the Pakistani MBA is not relevant to the PSW application, only the Liverpool MBA is relevant I think .. because it's the UK qualification to which your brother's PSW is tied to.

no, the 'cricket' guy in the news was denied the post study visa because he couldn't show enough maintenance fund in the bank account in order to apply for the PSW. He subsequently appealed to the court and the judge awarded him the visa on the ground of personal ties or something (because he has ma...

The proposed Fresh Talent Scotland Visa would operate in a similar manner to the current PSW arrangements, and would allow students from any UK institution to take up skilled work in Scotland for 2 years post graduation. If the Fresh Talent Scotland Visa is implemented then upon graduation, any stu...

indeed .. i hate to be pesimistic but what aryan2013 said is true .. more often than not .. NO existing visa to work = NO interview, and your resume will just be binned straight away into the trash can. At least that's my observation from working overseas (in another developed country) previously. I...

i think that there might be a chance still .. because Fresh Talent existed before even Tier 4 PSW were created. There's a recent publication by the Scottish Affairs Committee on the subject of psw and student visa. It's very long so I didn't read .. but generally the general tone is supportive of FT...

does anybody else get the impression that all these measures on limiting migration are just posturing to gain support for the upcoming election ? am I overly optimistic to think that once it's over, things would settle down a little and some form of PSW might return again.. ? especially when student...

my logic is, if the UK doesn't welcome graduates to stay .. then there's no reason to force it. Plenty of other places that would welcome skilled & educated people. Leave the UK to take care of its own people first (as rightly expected!) The message they give is: Come but we'll treat you like s...

Re: How about Scotland Fresh Talent, can it return?

I put lots efforts on the restoration of fresh talent Scotland ever since they started consultation on student visa, even I got a very encour...

I share the same opinion that the UK will appear to be less attractive due to the lack of PSW. However, that said, there is no Resident Labour Market Test being required to get Tier 2. That does make it significantly easier to access Tier 2. So, I guess the only difference is not having the "l...

Frst of all its not easy to fnd 20k job with in so less period of time .. What do you mean? What kind of job can be less than 20k per year? What is your specialisation? I think 20K is very reasonable. I would argue if they have said 30K, for example, which is rather high for fresh graduates in some...

Two years of experience in the UK would actually be quite valuable to me. If a situation doesnt transpire a certain way after two years, well, there is a big world out there and I hope to keep my perspective. What two years of experience in the UK ?
