I applied for tier 1 from UK on 31st March.. I have submitted my biometrics.
Is there a way to track my application status online?

ok.. so your saying its needed.
How does it work for applicants applying by post,..

would they be later given dates for biometrics to be done?
I though biometrics is needed only for VISA extensions.. can you correct me if I am wrong?

yes I should have mentioned - "bank statements".. sorry

they are original and on bank stationery

so i think a seal , signature or an additional letter from the bank is not needed.

It will be fine. In UK, the salary payment usually shows the company name, however this is not true outside UK. But make sure that the Bank statements (if used from India) need to be signed and rubber stamp sealed by a Bank official before this can be used for application purpose. Note: Seniors ple...
