Can someone please shed more light to this grey area. In the section 93 of the policy guidance it says net profit after tax and outgoings and I have seen several poeple in the forum using net profit before tax. Which one is correct

Net profit/ net profit after tax for self employed

Hello all, I submitted my tier 1 renewal. I am self employed. I claimed points on my profit after tax ( after outgoings and tax)and not profit before tax(after outgoings) Is this correct? If no what are the likely implications.

Is there anyway I can know my accountant meets Home Office requirement? The letter he gave me shows is FCCA. And regulated by ACCA to provide range of accounting services. I notice there is no ACCA logo on his letter head paper. Is this Ok by the HO.

I am self employed and had invoices raised to my client. My accountant has stamped all invoices but said its not necessary for him to sign them as his stamp also serves as his signature. will this be a problem if these invoices are not stamped ? Please your advise will be appreciated. Thanks

UTR NUMBER

I am self employed but lost the welcome letter issued by HMRC. I called HMRC and a letter was sent to me which only states my UTR number.
Is this new letter sufficient to proof I am self Employed or is there any other document I can use as a Proof I am self employed?

Hello All,
Please can anyone help me with my query, I am self employed, I pay my NI contribution quarterly ( By bill) my payment for last quater was made late ( By 1 day). Will this be a problem when renewing my tier one which is due in July.
