Hi Jah, You dont need to include your child in the application form at all if she was born in the UK and has never been outside the country. You can register her as a British citizen as soon as you get settled. Refer to the following link http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/britishcitizenship/eligibil...

Hi, I havent kept up with the changes since we got our case sorted. But I believe that as long as the requisite amount of income is shown within a 12 month period you dont need to show income for each month. Obviously the other rules will apply. As in the earnings should be from a consecutive 12 mon...

The following is a link for the High COmission in London.

If you scroll halfway down the page, it clearly mentions the 3 month grace period starting from the date on the certificate of naturalisation

You can still show the gross amount as is it is mentioned on your payslip and comes within the allowed forms of income. Since you are getting paid Holiday Pay I assume you are working PAYE so all amounts listed on your payslip cna be considered.

Hi,

You can get details of all visa requirements on the VFS page

http://in.vfsglobal.co.uk/

Someone from my office applied and it took 3 days for a visitor's visa to get approved. They did however have to spend half a day standing in various lines to get the forms submitted though.

Hi, Do not bind / punch or staple the application. I would suggest you use paper clips or else use a set of folders for the documents Lookup the point scoring requirements in Appendix A http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/policyandlaw/immigrationlaw/immigrationrules/appendixa/ If you are using a short...

Technically if you have a visa allowing residency in the UK you are able to apply on arrival in Turkey. However my brother in law faced issues last year when they travelled via Sabiha airport. If you enter via Ataturk International, immigration there is no issue.

Your first grant of leave in a relevant route would be your HSMP visa. So you can claim points based on your age at that time which was 26 years.

Thanks Greenie,

So basically she can apply at the same time as she qualifies? I am asking as I am applying as my wife's dependant and am applying at Croydon on Monday. I complete 2 years on the 5th May, but am within the 28 day rule.

that wouldn't work because the dependent has to apply at the same time as the main applicant in order to be granted ilr as a PBS dependent.
If she applies on the 11th May she is applying less than 28 days before completing her 2 year period. Why wont she qualify?
