I asked the HR department yesterday if they were contacted, to which they replied no. Having said that, n...

It is especially bad in the villages. For the majority of the time there is no electricity, leading to horrible conditions. The average temperature is now 45 degrees and will rise considerably over the next few weeks. I have never visited Pakistan during the summer period, so I can only imagine what...

I might be wrong, but I also believe that the fact that the sponsor left a couple of days after the relationship started is a point for refusal. It would seems strange that the spouse never returned to Pakistan to see her husband.

The land registry deeds are available to the public. The information on it can be easily verified and so does not required to be certified by a solicitor. I forwarded mine to my solicitor and she certified only those documents that required it (passport being an example). Anyway, like I said, there ...

InshAllah, everything will be fine. There is no use getting nervous and getting hyped up about what you included and didn't include in your application. Stay calm, and stay patient. I didn't submit my P60, but a lot of other people have, but yet those who didn't still got their visas. It will be fin...

I have read somewhere that the last bank statement should not be more than 28 days old from the date of application at the VAC. I have heard of cases where visas were rejected because the last bank statements enclosed were more than 28 days old. It is best to get this information confirmed, though. ...

Having some savings in your account (no less than £1000 recommended), will show the ECO that you are capable of saving money. The main purpose of the bank statements is to show that: 1. You have money immediately availble, in case of a rainy day or two (even more) 2. That you have a job with a week...

I never submitted my degree certificate as I was told it was not necessary. The biggest factor was that if I enclosed them and subsequently had them lost, then it would be a big problem in the future (obtaining another certificate from the university etc. is a real b*tch).

Currently, my wage is paid into my RBS account. However, to control my spending, I have set up a standin...
