Ali, I would not worry about the financial side of the application at all. As long as you have at least around £106 per week after paying rent/mortgage, council tax and loans, then it should not be an issue inshAllah. I have heard of people applying having only maintained contact via pre-paid cards...

Afzal, I really do hope everything goes well for you brother. I regularly pray for all my fellow brothers and sisters that, inshAllah, may Allah SAWT grant you all your visas. Afzal and Anjum have provided good points. Do not simply rely on pre-paid phone cards as your means of contact, as this does...

Be very wary of using CV templates. Potential employers can spot them a mile off and will almost certainly reject you because of that.

It is much bettr to create your own unique CV.

Back on the subject of sim cards, I have ordered and iCard sim card :) Plus, I shall be using cobra calling cards from now on. Should save me a couple of quid in the long run :)

Yep. The tracking number will start with LHE/050511/......./1 It's usually the abbreviated city name in which the VAC is located, followed by the date, then a random number followed by /1. I could start tracking it from the day it was submitted, but sometimes it starts the day after the application...

I am currently with Vectone as they have the "Top up £20 and receive free £10 credit" offer. We don't usually talk for 3 hours, but we do usually talk for around an hour, which is still a long time. I was thinking of sending an Android phone to my wife so that she can use skype, but a fr...

Spent 3 odd hours talking to my wife las night. Yes, it was expensive, but hey, so what? We were missing each other THAT much. But what a blessing it was, as that terrible feeling being apart has diminished considerably Blimey I don't know how you can talk to your wife for 3 hrs continuous. I suppo...

I agree with the senior members of this forum. It is best to be truthful when putting any application forward. If the agency finds out that you were lying, they will believe that you have broke their immigration rules and have tried to deceive them. In this case, it will be a reason for them to reje...
