Evidence of Maintenance for FLR(M)

Hi all, Just a quick question. I have an appointment at a PEO early next month for my visa application. As part of my application, my partner and I are submitting bank statements for several bank accounts, as well as pay slips and company accounts covering about a 6 month period. We are concerned th...

What sort of things prevent same-day decision at PEO?

Hi all, I have an appt at Croydon coming up for FLR(M). Its really important that I get a same-day decision, as I have a tight deadline for when I need my new visa. As such - I wondered what sort of things make a partner visa application "complicated" such that a decision would be deferred...

Hi, My understanding is that only certain branches of Barclays will not stamp those rubbish plain-paper things they charge you 5 pounds to send out. When I went to my bank to get the thing stamped, they said they didn't do it because of issues with Fraud (they implied this had more to do with the pa...

you and your british partner must attend the appointment, if your partner cannot attend then he needs to send a letter explaining why, check the application form it mentiones this... Thanks - this is indeed, verbatim, what is in the form, but that wasn't actually my question. I am asking whether the...

PEO applointments for FLR (M)...

OK - hopefully this isn't a stupid question, but I'm a bit confused.... Have just booked an appt at Croydon for an FLR(M) application. The confirmation says " please ensure that only the individuals registered and booked into the appointment come along". Does this mean that my partner (the...

Thanks!

Do you think there would be any trouble in extending it (I meet the points criteria) if I am refused for the FLR(M)? I would be looking to extend about 6 months after in Tier 1, if I can't get the partner visa.

Thanks so much - please excuse my paranoia.... :(

Conflicting immigration advise - who is correct???

I was looking at switching out of my current Tier 1(general) visa in favour of the unmarried partner route. On discussing this with an immigration consultant, I was advised that should my FLR(M) application be unsuccessful, my tier 1 visa (and any subsequent right to extend it) would become void bec...

Well, this is the issue. I would probably fall just short of the earnings requirement, but am planning to switch into the unmarried partner category anyway as soon as I have enough evidence...I understand I'd be taking a calculated risk. Would it be seen as a violation of my visa conditions to be st...

Unmarried partner guidance on evidence...

Hi all, I'm interested in whether anyone can give me some guidance on docs for unmarried partners. I am aware that you need at least 6 items spread over a 2 year period (at least 3 diff sources). My question is whether it is important to have at least one item in joint name that is recurring over th...

Tier 1 (General) queries ....

Hi, I hoped someone could help me with a couple questions I have re: tier 1. 1. Is it ok to study on tier 1? I want to start a 1 year university course (to convert my professional qualification); although the course is classed "fulltime" I only have to attend 2 days a week, and would there...
