I got my CON by registered post today, hope next week there will lot of CON's issued. All the Best. CONGRATULATIONS When did you send the Yellow form etc I applied on July 6th, acknowledged by DOJ 5th August. It took exactly 6 weeks to get the CON after sending the yellow form. NO No next year(hopefully). May be in next two weeks we would hear about CONs and then New wave of Approvals(hopefully).

She actually gave me the case officer's name over the phone and told me that my file on his desk but she had never said anything else about my file after I submitted my bank statements ...

I also spoke to my local TD and complained of how long I had been waiting to hear something. The TD took my details (ie. application number and name). That seems to have sped things up as I received my yellow form within 8 weeks of the phone call and meeting with my local TD. As others have said, i...

Dep of Justice .i.e. Mr Alan has not attended in Tipperary’s ceremony anyway. There were Gov spoke person giving lecture. Because two of my uncle amoung the certificate receiptient on that day! Oh! I thought that He attended all the big Ceremonies so he definitely would be there. Sorry my Mistake...

According to your quote .... parents do apply citizenship on behalf of their irish child ,anyway they do get stamp 4 residency on behalf of them . I never said "parents do apply citizenship on behalf of their irish child". I said "they never granted Citizenship on base of Irish Child...

yes you can apply .. section 16 in citizenship legislation explained this point. association means your blood. its all depend on minister that he will wavie this condition or not. but definatly you can apply. you write them a letter ....... they will send you form back. You can get only Irish Citizenship through 1-Birth 2-Descent 3-Marriage 4-Naturalization They used to give 18 years stamp 4 at the time of Birth of Irish Child but they stopped Issuing stamp 4 to Parents of Irish child since 18th or 19th Feb 2003. Then there was another Scheme in 2004 i-e IBC Scheme...
