Time spent outside UK

Just thought I would write a hopefully short post to answer the questions that many people have asked as to who the changes will apply to Some key points about the changes. 1. The new rules will primarily only affect those who apply for leave as a spouse/CP/unmarried partner/fiance of a settled per...

Re: How to approve the date when i left UK?

Yes. The airline has to send the API (Advanced Passenger Information) containing details such as name, dob, passport etc. for all the flights entering or leaving the UK. Hi, thanks g_nl, just curious if Ukba has this sort inf anyway, why on the form it still asks about the length of time spent outs...

How to approve the date when i left UK?

How UKBA know when the person leaves the country? Once I left the country and headed for another EU country, there is no stamp when I left UK heathrow airport and I didn't get a stamp when I entered another EU country either. Unfortunately I lost the flight ticket. Does the flight company provide th...

Why processing time takes so long for spouse visa outside UK

I have ILR and my husband is going to apply for spouse visa outside of UK. I checked the processing time of the local visa application center and it seems this type of settlement visa will normally between 40 to 80 days ! at least 2 months to get the result. Why it takes so long? Compare to other ty...

Now I want to apply for spouse visa in my home...

Would it be the same doc like for my parents family visit, in addition, I need marriage certificate / my child birthday certificate which show my husband name, to approv...

From your other post, I understand that you are not a BC (yet). In general, EEA regulations do not apply to EEA nationals in their home country (French in France, British in the UK etc). The national rules i.e. spouse visa apply to them. There are exceptions: * If a British citizen holds another EE...

I am yet to understand where the issue is that you seem to be so worried about! The P60 in question (that you no longer possess) in all likelihood accurately reflected the income and tax for the relevant FY. An alternate document from HMRC for the same year should be sufficient. Though there is no ...

Do you have payslips for the period Dec '06 - Mar '07 that accurately reflect your salary in those 4 months? I lost the payslips also, but I can ask the previous employer HR write a letter to say how much I earned for each of these 4 months. Maybe I should just bring the payslips for these 4 months...

I lost my P60 and asked my previous employer HR issued a letter, on the letter, it has the total amount I get paid in Financial year 06/07 , tax paid, tax code, as a substitute of P60. I inferred "get paid in FY" differently from "was paid in FY", hence the response. If that is ...

Re: WP Salary issue

Is there an issue? 1. WP authorisation states "annual" salary of the sponsored migrant. 2. P60 reflects income and tax in a given "tax year". So unless the migrant started working in the UK from the first day of the tax year, the figures on WP and P60 can never match! But will n...
