John, question was regarding original vs photocopy of the HO documents.

I know Birth Certificate should be original which is said explicitly . U did not read from the very begining of this thread.

Sorry I could not make it clear. I means Child benefit claim form- it is said in the point 20 in Section 1-(About you)--"Please sent a copy of your home office documents to us with this form"

I want to send:

1) Form
2) copy of HO letter stating ILR
3) Copy of WIFE's passport
4)Copy of WIFE's BRP

Do U think, this will be ok? Pls.

Original Copy- Child benefit

I am in ILR. I know I need to send the original Birth Certificate of Child for the Child benefit.

However, do I need to send original copy of :
1) My Passport and
2) BRP

or

Just photocopies of these 2.

I had DAT1 report with me that was done while extending my Tier-1 G. This was asked by HO. I applied by post.

For my ILR, I submitted the previious DAT1 report. Note that I was in NI about 3 years.


Ho might ask U for DAT1 report.

We live in buttom floor and Landlond live in the top floor of the same house. But the addresses of us (ours and Landlord) are the same.

Would it be any problem to make the Landlord as a referee for my child BC (MN1 form)?

I am currently in tier-1 visa. I have an appointment on 11 Jan 2013. My initial visa (WP) stamp- 1 Feb 2008. Tier-1 (G) - 12 Dec 2009 Extension t1G---------- - 5 May 2012. In this situation, may I apply ( PEO ) for ILR on 11 Jan 2013? I am not sure about 28 days windows. Please help me.
