I rent a one bedroom flat for myself and I supplied the tenancy agreement for this. However I am not sure whether I should put in my letter that both my parents will be staying here with me or should I rather say they'll find their own accommodation. Reason for this is I am unsure whether a one bedr...

You need two copies of all the original documents. 2 letters of sponsorship and all of my documents as a sponsor in double copies? Will mother have to get my dad write a letter he's supporting her financially because that's what she's put on her form (unemployed, receive money from family/friends)....

Mother will declare in her application that the cost of her trip will be covered by her husband who will be going with her. Does she need any letter of confirmation from him saying he will do so? In his application he put that they will be going together and said for example that £2,000 was availab...

One (online) form is enough. I am quite sure both forms are same. Have a look and compare. 3. Even if they are sponsoring - its good to give background of your financial status. Anyone else can reassure me regarding the application forms? They are pretty much the same yes, but I wanted to make sure...

Parents are applying for a visitor visa to see me in the UK ( I work on tier 2). They have already completed an application online each on here http://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/ApplyNow.aspx and requested an appointment date from the British Embassy in our country. However I am not sure whether this ap...

Dependant, in this context, means any children of the applicant that are not living independent lives and require financial support. Clearly this does not apply to you. Leave this field blank. Should they list my brother as a dependent though? Because they are actually financially sponsoring him to...

If this is with regard to an immigration application it would be helpful if you could say what category. Parents are applying for a visitor visa to see me and my sibling who both live in the UK, me on an employer sponsored visa and my brother on a student visa. We are both over 18yo. ''4.17 Please ...

What is the definiton of dependent children?

I have checked the applicationg guide for an explanation to 'dependent children' but they do not elaborate on that and I was wondering whether my parents should list me as such if I am over 18 years of age?

Thanks!

A few questions about changing jobs

If you were to simply quit your job without having found anything else ( I realise that'd be dumb) do you have to leave the country at once or are you allowed to stay here at all looking for another job if you're on an employer sponsored tier 2 visa? How easy is it to get a new employer sponsor you ...

The answer to my question above would have to be NO, which brings us here:

6.18 Do you have money in your own name? Put a cross (X) in the relevant box.

Have money in parent / legal guardians bank account.

Done :)

I won't tell you read the guidance but I will tell you to read the previous comments! See para 44 of the guidance for the definition of an official financial sponsor but note this does not include your parent. 44. A student may be sponsored by an official financial sponsor. An official financial sp...
