I have been told that my application has been passed over to a case worker for consideration but they can't confirm the date when it was assigned to the case worker. Many Many congrats Vicky on receiving your ILR approval letter. gives so much pleasure to read the news that sumbody has received it.You applied on 26th Nov and I applied on 2nd Dec so its getting quite close...I feel excited that it may be coming anytime soon! Thankgod! Thats a great news that somebody else got the approval letter this week! I have submitted my docs on 2nd DEc 2013 but my biomentrics was done by 3rd January 2014. Same as you, so i am hoping to hear from ukba soon too!!

I have applied by the settlement checking service on 1st December 2013. Why is it that everybody is applying in PEO all of a sudden? I havent received any response yet after my biometrics..am wondering is creating a delay the home office's way to discourage applying via settlement checking services ...

Hi,
You don not need any translations since your nikah nama was already filled in English thats fine! I used mine the same way and its perfectly acceptable.

Hi, If your wife doesnt have a degree taught in english AND certified by UK NARIC then she has to give an english test. The list of approved tests is given in the UKBA site. Its a must for everyone to give Life in UK test regardless of teh launguage. I myself have submitted these documents recently ...

tooky my husband 8 weeks to get his ILR. His was a straight forward case, 10 years residence. And it doesnt take long for a caseworker to decide the case if you have submitted all the required documents.

Has anybody received their approval letters during November or December? I always had very good experiences regarding my applications. When I applied to come to UK under my husband's ILR (which he got in 8 weeks), i got my visa in 2 weeks! So i was expecting i may get a quick response this time too ...

heyy yea..i hv tried many like findaproperty.com and sparearoom.com, zoopla.com ...prob is tht they dont hv any available in tht range :( they r mostly let out.And the ones available are above 650 pounds which we can afford but as per uk rules my husband's salary has to be above sum specific amount ...
