Ya and its a bit expensive also just to get a duplicate certificate, they charge £162. As u suggested,I will leave it as second option.

Ya its a good way indeed to get the duplicate copy which I wasn't aware of at all.
I will apply with plan A first and if things dont work, I should go with plan B. But then also, I should apply for the duplicate naturalisation certificate with out the date of registration question filled.
