Hi

The address was correct and i applied. The document arrived in the post yesterday but noone was in to collect so i have arranged a re-delivery.

Thanks for your reply, that is as i expected. Also another query, when applying online i could not enter my passport number as it start with a letter and the system wouldnt allow it. Yes, you can apply for benefits with discretionery leave. I had it before i got my ILR and i was apply to claim JSA after i finished studying and started looking for work.

i have a similar situation as i applied on May16 due to having discretional leave for 6years. I still havent received mine either. I think this one depends on your personal circumstances. But if you have had it for 6yrs, there is no reason not to receive ILR. Unless u've committed crime or continuos...

it usually takes a long time, around 4-8weeks. However you can call them and request the documents back which should be quicker. Also ask if you can submit new information alongside the original application, you may not need your application back in that case.

Finally looks like people who applied in May are receiving their ILR
my timeline
Applied for ILR SET(O) - 16th May
Document recieved - 17th May
Ack letter recieved - 20th May
Payment gone through 20th May

Still waiting, looks like it should arrive within 2weeks

wow, this thread has slowed down a lot. Just my luck, after applying mid may i was expecting it to take 6weeks. Looks like its taking over 2months now so wont expect anything till mid-july
