Re: varying the application ...seniors plz help

Migrant80 Are you dealing with the appeal yourself or through representation? You can vary the ground of appeals to be put forward to the judge so that on your next hearing date, instead of arguing your previous refusal case they will consider your new case. You will have to satisfy the judge that y...

Re: ILR conditions met before Tier 1 refusal. Appeal Pending

Faisal

Have you been given a hearing date? The best thing is to prolong the hearing date so you can reach your 10 year period and once you do, vary the grounds of appeal on the basis of 10 years ILR.

Make sure you do your LIUK test.

In my opinion it does...

Had I gone to croydon PEO, I don't think they would have spent 6 hours on our application but rather would have sent us home and made postal decision.....

but hey that's my opinion and I certainly don't expect anyone to agree with me...

I can confirm the departure and arrival dates do not count toward absences. Your application should be fine. 35 days of absences is nothing.. My wife had 434 days of absences in the 2 year qualifying period due to medical reason but then again we went to Cardiff PEO instead of going to our local Cro...

well the medical reports would be different for individuals depending on their circumstances.

Main thing to consider is that you get the medical letter from your doctor who has been treating your case including all the prescription letters.

SET(M) - ILR Granted at Cardiff PEO (20.12.13)

My wife was granted ILR yesterday at Cardiff PEO. In 2 year probationary period she was out of the country for more than 180 days in her first year and second year due to the medical reason. We submitted all the medical evidences with the application. Our appointment was at 9.30 and we were given th...

Hi Amber Thanks for your reply. No, the degree is not being awarded 10 points on PBS calculator. However, I have a letter from UK NARIC two years ago confirming the degree is equivalent to UK degree (which was also used as a reference when obtaining spouse visa for my wife). Am kind of confused that...

You are right, there is no expiry date written on the letter.

Only thing is, its dated 2 years ago...Was just wondering if UKBA may ask for a fresh letter...

Is it worth applying for new one or just use the same letter?

Many thanks

UK Naric Assesment done 2 years ago

Hi

I did Naric assessment for my wife overseas degree 2 years ago which was used as a proof for English language requirement.

Can that letter still be accepted or will I have to get a fresh assessment letter from NARIC?

Thanks

If you look at the back of the card, it reads that the person is entitled visa free entry to Pakistan. So yes he can travel on his NICOP card.

OR

If you cant get NICOP card, you can always apply for visit visa on his British Passport.

Without either of these Airline will not board them on place from UK.

Brtitish Passport for newborn from Pakistan

Hi

Can someone please advise how long is taking currently to apply for first time British passport for newborn baby from Pakistan? I hold British citizenship and child will be born in Pakistan.

Or is it easier to go for COE to ROA?

Your experience and input will be much appreciated.

Kind regards

If your approval letter states that you will receive another letter for Citizenship invitation then yes that letter will come from UKBA and not from your council.
So just wait for that letter which shouldn't be long to come through now.
