And you also answered my next question which was going to be do we have to wait for the 6 months to be up before applying for FLR. I'm hoping that the FLR process is more straightforward, but am yet to read up on it!

After nearly a year since applying my fiance has finally got his visa! It feels quite surreal now as we thought back in August 2010 everything would be straightforward. Alhamdullilah things work out for the best and he will be here soon. I just wanted to ask the experts a question...is there a time ...

@ Saeraj Hi I faxed the number I had for Birmingham POU & they sent a letter to my home address stating that they can confirm that a determination was sent to Entry Clearance Officer in UK Visa on 10/6/11............... They also gave me an email address to chase call letter which is as follows...
