Re: Tier 1 General ILR- Questionnaire and other queries

hi O_Relly, thanks for your quick reply. since in previous extension my claim year and tax year didn't match. so that i did certify the dividends from another accountant. the only documents i could generate from third party was Accountant's letter. this time i do have HMRC issued SA302 for external...

Re: Spyware, Adware, Bloatware ?

Update: Turns out my PC is infected with serious malware. It seems malware is different from a virus, and hence my anti-virus software did not pick this up. I installed 3 different anti-malware softwares which found and quarantined 1000's of malware. However my PC is still not squeaky clean. I am go...

Re: Tier 1 General ILR- Questionnaire and other queries

Thanks Pscloud & O_Relly for your reply. since my claiming year for the visa purpose is exactly same as tax year I suppose to submit following documents; 1. Original HMRC produced SA302 for last four years. 2. Dividends vouchers 3. pay slips & P60 4. personal bank statements except this doc...

If your income was less than £31785, then it appears there is no requirement to file a self-assessment. See this comment(click)

Re: ILR Refused PEO Need Urgent Help

"HMRC record shows that for financial year 2011/12, 2012/13 and 2013/2014 you did not submitted any tax return for income from self employed. The information held by HMRC is current as of January 2015 and your previous application due to have a tax return submitted prior to this date. On your ...

Re: ILR Refused @ PEO - LTD Company Director

@argus7 I am sorry to say mate, but unfortunately your statement is INCORRECT . A director of a limited company does not have to file for SA if his/her income is below the income threshold (£31785) and there is no personal tax liability due. He only needs to file for SA when he/she exceeds income t...

Re: Premium service fee for Tire 1 General

Yes. From the 18th March the PSC premium appointment for ILR will be £2,375 (£1,875 + £500). Not sure if this will help, but the Isle of Man is exempt from the 18th March rule, the legislation takes effect from the 6th April. Re: Tier 1 General ILR- Questionnaire and other queries

The T1G policy guidance on pg 23 states, 111. Where you are providing evidence from an accountant or accountancy firm the accountant must be either a fully qualified chartered accountant or a certified accountant who is a member of a registered body. If the earnings were for work done while you were...

Re: Contents of covering letter for absence from UK

What is the confusion? just list them as year1, year 2, year 3 and so on...and list the number of days taken in each year.

If you scrawl through the ILR forum with patience, there are quite a handful of templates that people have used successfully that you may find.

Re: Section 7.13 in ILR application form

Just provide the instance when you were out for 187 days. In your letter of absence, do the split over 5 years in a manner where the 187 days are split between 2 years. It should be no problem, as the rule clearly is no more than 180 days in any one of the consecutive 12 month period. Pg 30 of calcu...

Re: Premium service fee for Tire 1 General

What i understand from my experience that as far as you are T1G applicant they will ask you to fill the form. The form is basically asks you wether you worked as self employed in last 5 year if yes which years. And are you satisfied with returns and tax paid for those years. In my case, they asked ...

Re: Premium service fee for Tire 1 General

Oh yes within 5 minutes of submitting documents. It's a must nowadays for tier 1 G applications that's what I got the impression. Its a must now for T1G applicants who have been self employed or director of a limited company during the period of their T1G visas. For example, if someone on T1G was a...

Thanks cr001. I have tried this on a VM environment running Ubuntu and Firefox and the issue still happens there as well. I am now convinced that it is my PC that is infected with the malware. After I reset the browser settings to factory defaults, I seem to have got rid of the problem for some time...

Re: ILR refusal

This is the area of confusion. For there seems to be a difference of 12000. which i shown in 2013 to 2014 SA302 Are you saying you declared the 12000 in 2013 Self Assessment filing instead of in 2012 ? Does that mean your 2013 dividends declaration shows an additional 12K which must have fallen in ...

Re: Tier 1 (no employment for 5 months) + Tier 2 to ILR QUER

The gap of unemployed 5 months spent outside the country is not an issue for your ILR. As long as the absence is less than 180 days in any given 12 month period. You need not have been in continuous employment in a Tier 1 General Visa. Also given that you were spending that time taking a course to b...

I have pop-up's blocked too. This is something that is over-riding the setting.

The behavior is the same with IE (actually Edge as OS in home PC is Win10), Chrome and FireFox. My primary browser is Chrome.

Hi, I am noticing that I am being bomarded with ads and spam pop ups when accessing immigrationboards.com from my home PC, to the extent it is unusable and am having to kill the browser instance from the TaskManager.
