thanks guys! just tried the general number and the lady was very nice but wouldn't discuss the case :( maybe on a direct number they will be willing to tell us more.

so 6-7 weeks from the time its allocated to caseworker - i wonder how many applications each caseworker goes through in a day? should be quite a few id imagine, people who get ILR at PEO say that they spend about 30min looking at the docs before giving decision. 8 hour working day, must be at least ...

i think the timeline is roughly 8-9 weeks from the date of posting. Some of this time is spent taking payment (which is not done by HO, but rather some company they have outsourced this funtion to), forwarding the application to HO and initial processing by HO before its allocated to a particular pe...

i applied via a solicitor no Ack letter received yet, though HO did confirm that they sent it to my address weeks ago, they are resending a new one. this is all so confusing!! i remember when i applied for a work permit a couple of years back it came through in 10 days!! and back then it seemed like...
