Thanks nks and thebionicredneck2003! I see. Before, I have thought that even if the applicant had enough point in total, if the earnings were lower than the earnings on initial application, extension would be refused anyway… But It is clear now. So, the info I heard was not really true for T1 exte...

Thanks for your comment. Could you please clarify that this means following applicant will be rejected ? for example… Applicant who requires 100point in total for the extension... - Initial application: Total point 120 (includes age, qualifications, earnings, Ukexperience, language and maintenance...

Thanks for the clarification.
It does makes sense... I see that's why gross for Employee, however net for self-employed (without owing the company drawing salary from it)... unless earning less than 6K before the tax period.
