Re: SET(LR) Missing Exit Stamp on passport, no travel proof

Hi there I don't think they are looking for corresponding entry stamps from the countries you visited. I went to Ireland from Belfast there was no entry or exit stamp fro either countries however I still declared it to be truthful. I am sure HO know when you leave the UK even though they practice ex...

If not, can you please tell me the email where this should be sent to? You can go ahead and ask them but we ...

Re: New passport holder living outside UK

Dear All, I was granted British citizenship and received passport in June 2013. A new situation at work meant that I had to migrate to Dubai in July 2013. I have been back to UK a couple of times since. During my last visit, I had some questions by the immigration officer at the airport about my em...

Re: May 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Sorry I don't mean to rain on your parade, but this notion that the HO treats some nationalities less favourably is pretty thin. No one can say that what in essence is discrimination based on nationality is anything but mere conjecture. The British Nationality Act 1981 doesn't operate in a vacuum, ...

I would send it as soon as you receive the acknowledgement letter. If you wait for them it's just going to delay your application. I will do it like that. they will think I am mad. is there any reference numbers in the acknowledgement letter? or my name and DOB will be enough? People often send ext...

I am in the same situation as well. They did not give the brp back saying they can't and they need to keep it. Is it a common practice? Has anyone been in the same situation and given citizenship?
