Spouse Visa / NI Number

I know that when a Spouse Visa is issued, the individual then becomes eligable to work..

How do they get their NI number?

They were bank holidays in the UK so I would think yes.

The BHC in Cairo was closed all through the british bank holidays.

If not just go on their website.. might tell you there?!

They dont do a credit reference check...

It is based on the bank statements that she supplies them. The bank statements would be the account her salary is paid into.

As far as i know this information is correct.

My husband was the one who overstayed... I am UK Citizen.. He overtstayed by 9 months...

When i say 'we have done just this' was he left the UK and applied for spouse visa in his home country Egypt.
