Hey all, good news! Two red "Something for you" cards were waiting for us after getting home from a weekend away, one card for my wife and one for me. As we aren't expecting any deliveries and it was Special Delivery/Letter/Signature required, we can only assume it is our passports and do...

Does anyone have any theories behind that 20+ day gap between the date and the arrival? Not using the prepaid envelope doesn't seem to be enough, right? It is very likely that the date listed as "processed" is the day they print the sticker and or COA. From there, it likely goes from one ...

also as family permit expires on 30th sept so cannot travel till i get the RC.... Also, in regards to your family permit expiring 30th Sept... this does not matter. You said you received your COA in July. This overrides your Family Permit and gives you right to work and travel into the UK 6 months ...

Just an FYI... An American friend of mine (married to a Polish national) who is also in the UK applied for his EEA2 three weeks ago and received his COA less than a week later, dated 3 days after he mailed out his package. It's incredible how quickly he received it and I'll be honest, I was a bit j...

I think as a collective, we need to relax a bit and sit back and let what we cannot control happen on it's own. I can understand the frustration in seeing someone receive their RC before you after having applied for it before them, but come on, we're all aware that in extreme cases it can take up to...

Still waiting as well. My time table is in my signature. Those folks getting their RC returned within 6 weeks gives us hope for a quicker turnaround. However, most people have been receiving their RC about 90 days later, so I'd be happy if I got mine before the 2nd week of September as this is what ...

How is it that the UK government can be so careless and haphazard with our passports? It perplexes and annoys me to no end that we go through many weeks/months of meticulous planning and organizing for the EEA2. The least the government can do is have the decency to treat our important possessions w...

Re: EEA2 CoA Time Process

On average, CoA's take about 3-5 weeks to arrive. Lately most people have been receiving them about 30 days after their applications arrived at the home office. Be patient, all will be fine! :D Hi eveyone. i am not well at all since i started waiting. i have sent my application 2 weeks after it came...

It seems the current wait is 3-5 weeks for CoA (usually just about 1 month exactly) and 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 months for RC. One question though for those who included a pre-paid special return delivery envelope with their package (like me), how long did it take for everything to arrive at your home after ...
