I recieved my pp today and got a 27months visa.
It was stamped in AbuDhabi on 4th July 2011.

i got the "ready for collection" update right at 9:45am (PK time). Going to collect it between 3pm-4pm today.

I checked on website(VFS tracking) they dont send any message even i was subscribe for sms facility but they dont send even one just waste of 200 :P and i was sleep in morning after 8am and woke up about 1:45pm so...

you must have called gerrys. they r not helpful at alll.

there is no harm in calling visa section, abudhabi or if you think your case is being dealt in the UK, call there. probably u can get some useful update.

FYI, i asked the rep, when I called Visa Section Abudhabi yesterday, is my passport stamped with visa? he replied, didnt you submit the documents after allowed appeal, I replied, Yes! @shadow n agraceofman guys i ve very zabardast information. i called visa section abudhabi today, just moments ago. guess what they told me? "the system is showing your application is processed and we are sending your passport back to Pakistan today and you will recieve it in next week" me...

@agraceofman they refused as i didnt submit my wife's payslips. she was on a new job and instead of payslips we provided a letter from the company. now i think we should had wait for atleast 3 months. the other reason was accomodation but that wasnt really an issue. then the call letter came after 1...

what i could understand abt the updates is different. first update:sent to bhc for processing second update:sent to OC (overseas consulate) third update: sent to embassy for processing forth update: under process at bhc embassy and bhc are one and the same, i.e., islamabad embassy/british high comm....
