Hi Jambo,

Thanks for your reply.

I need to double check with him, but I'm sure he has IDR. He came here and worked (no study at all), and I'm unsure as to whether he is registered with the HO.

I'm seeing him tonight so I'll speak with him.

Many thanks

hi, I agree with Casa - I was christian but converted to islam in egypt a few days before our wedding took place. This was done at the main mosque in cairo and I was given a Certificate confirming my conversion. When I married a few days later, you are asked your religion, and I had evidence of this...

Good luck...hope you hear soon and be patient !

thats good, at least you tried to put it right! Im unsure if it will affect your application, but at least you have been honest and rectified matters. That can only be a positive step. Your visa states you cannot have access to public funds, which you havent. Your husband is entitled to on his own, ...

if your husband claimed council tax benefit in his sole name, and forgot to advise that you were living with him, and the income you were bringing into the household was not been disclosed, then he has been committing benefit fraud, and most likely receiving more benefit that he would have been enti...

After rent/mortgage, c/tax and loans you need £105.95 left per week. Savings are not hugely necessary but obviously it looks far better. I had £1500. Any dependents that live with you will also be accounted for, and you need to have approx £65 per week per child.

As it your application, only you need to fill in the form, not your wife. Your wife could write a letter to go with supporting docs, just explaining how you met, your relationship etc, that she will sponsor you etc etc if you wish. Not quite sure what you mean by post paid bill....but emails, skype ...

By not doing so, she is most likely receiving more than she is entitled to, and thereby committing benefit fraud. She needs to notify her local benefits office asap to rectify the si...
