Last date is 5th June.
Is that factoring in the 3 months extra grace period that the govt has given to attend naturalisation ceremonies, in addition to the standard 3 month period?
Yes. 7 months finish on 5th June

We applied for OCI in July and document acknowledgment date is 29th July. Still status is under process. Why so much of delays?

Re: Is my wife and children eligible for Naturalisation

Can I ask one more question. If my wife is not yet eligible for naturalisation, how come my children who are born abroad and came with her in 2012 can apply registration. I tried to read https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/483729/MN1_Guide_December_2015.pdf But ...

Re: Is my wife and children eligible for Naturalisation

Children, yes . Wife, after you are British. Hi Vinny, Thanks for your reply. But can my wife apply with me. And they can process both applications together. If mine is successful then they can consider her. No, your wife cannot apply with you because she does not currently fulfill the requirements...

Is my wife and children eligible for Naturalisation

Hi, I am applying for naturalisation this month. I am eligible but not sure if my wife and 2 kids are eligible. They were born abroad. They were in UK until Nov 2009 (except my daughter who is born in March 2011) and came back in March 2012 as Tier 1 dependent. And in Nov 2013 we all got ILR. They h...

Re: Naturalisation - Break in continuous stay

First question : And you must usually have: lived in the UK for at least the 5 years before the date of your application spent no more than 450 days outside the UK during those 5 years spent no more than 90 days outside the UK in the last 12 months been granted indefinite leave to stay in the UK (o...

Naturalisation - Break in continuous stay

Hi, I got my ILR in Nov 2013. I came to UK in Sept 2006 and had break in stay for 13-14 months around 2010 (Nov 2009 to Jan 2011). I was granted ILR on compassionate reasons. Will that affect my application now for naturalisation. At present I am in UK from Jan 2011. And my wife and 2 children came ...

Re: Indicative Visa fees for 2015/16

Outflak1 is correct. The children will need to be registered using form MN1 after atleast one, preferably both, parent(s) have been naturalised. As a rule of thumb, children are registered and adults are naturalised. The difference is that children born in the UK are entitled to registration when t...

Re: Indicative Visa fees for 2015/16

Assuming a family of 4. Naturalisation – £906 per person including children = £3624 Only if the children are adults that go through the standard naturalization process. The registration process is about 60% of that cost. Surrender of Indian passport and citizenship = 117.24 per person = £468.96 Onl...

Re: Indicative Visa fees for 2015/16

So far its still a indication. I wish it won't apply. :( It always does. It is just a formality. There could be minor technical changes. There is not a single MP who will raise immigrants concern. I sent emails to many MPs, local MP, keith waz, london mayor, business secretary, home secretary. No o...

Re: Indicative Visa fees for 2015/16

Why do they need to increase the fees every DAMM year?for what??? Btw what's the ILR fees for postal and PEO now? All fees are in URL I gave earlier. These will be applicable from 6th April. Current fees are in below url. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/279...

Re: Indicative Visa fees for 2015/16

I understand that the fees are exorbitant and way out of proportion to the actual cost of service provided. However, it is worth remembering that we are here by choice. We don't need to go down this path, especially as regards naturalisation (and getting OCI) if you have already got ILR. The total ...

That doc dont stack up! If I look at Naturalisation fees, it shows current (2014/15) as £845 and proposed £925. Where as Link below shows current naturalisation fees to be £906? May be I am missing something? https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/301380/Master_Fe...
