Residence permit letter clearly explains a leave more than 2 years from UK may invalidate your PR status. 1 year gap shouldnot really cause much problem unless you appear as a completely 'homeless lumberjack' to the immigration authorities at the airport. But there is no 'safe period' in immigration...

Hi uni The experience I shared is more than 2 years old and may have become obsolete as WP-UK and HO keep adding new 'processes and work-flow routes'. I think this is aimed to make the system efficient and minimize their workloads. As far as I understand it, within the country, WP approval and FLR a...

So does it mean that I can put my new address when I extend my WP and FLR (or even apply for ILR) in the future? Hi Uni As far as I understand, your employer has to apply for WP extention - not you. And I don't think the employer has to provide the employees residential address in the WP extention ...

1, Is this my responsibility of inform of this change? or my employer's? No. You don't have to inform HO about your residential whereabout unless you have had such a requirement during EC clearence stage (eg: police registration) otherwise you are free to move around anywhere in the country. 2, Is ...

My basic point is - taking this matter to HO or a legal desk is very easy, but whatever HO/law verdicts, whether is favourable or against him - he is not going to gain anything out of it. THATS THE WHOLE POINT people advising him to leave her alone and get along with his daily business. Dear User- ...

I certainly suspect it could be a question of domestic violence and it is better for prince to take a criminal lawyers advice before he approaches IND or HO. The only option for you is to contact the high commision in India and apply for an entry clearence there.

Just to let you know, you got to show ample evidence and background info as a back up for the genuinity and circumstances which lead to this marriage to get thru EC.

If we dont Have NI number we dont get a job. Dino That is untrue or your have wrong information. As an immigrant or a foriegn/Non-EU passport holder, NI number will only be issued to you provided you show them 'reasons' to have one. following are the ONLY two reason as far as I know, to obtain an N...

Truly sad to hear your incident, But I agree with Chess, you'd be better off not chasing her because the law always takes a 'tough stand' on you by default. If you attempt to cancel her visa or take her to court, you are probably doing her a favour(if she hires a smart lawyer) and you might even end...

If your EC history is 'clean' in the UK then it is very likely that your FLR application will be approved straight away. Rejection example cases : if you were a student or ex-WP holder and 'over stayed' more than 6 months in UK after the expiry of your VISA, then its more likely for your EC applicat...

For your ILR application, it does not really matter whether your salary is 30K or 42K. If the employer has shown 42K in the WP application it doesn't really affect you as an employee( Only the employer has lied -not you !). If your employment contract states 42K salary and you are paid only 30K then...

If its just 'immigration' that you are looking for, then I think you should choose Canada. HSMP is more promising to secure a job independently, provided the job market here reacts positively with respect to your time, experience and skills. Also, HSMP, from my understanding does not guarantee an im...
