If you have the option to apply for citizenship then by all means do so. The WCATT used to be used as a kind of security blanket for people who had not applied for citizenship or those who had and were in a kind of limbo. You still get treated almost as a criminal coming through Dublin Airport somet...

Rlow hi, Infact I've not received Oath Conf...

One of my referees has sadly passed away since my application was made.
The other has moved to the UK and i don't think he even has an Irish Number/Address any longer.

I was approved, and i don't believe that any of them was contacted.

Pink letter arrived today after 23 months (April 2010 application). April 1st ceremony date. Having called up last week, one of the Mary's said it would be another 3-4months. So that does go to show that they do not know what the other half is doing. From previous posts here, it seems that there hav...

It depends on what questions you asked them or how you asked them as well. For example, i called today asking about an application in the 3400's ...

Perhaps call up immigration at Dublin airport and see if they can help.

Can't find the telephone number - but it was posted on some thread or the other a while back.

Perhaps someone else can help with that number.

You just need to be persistent - it takes quite some time. You need to constantly redial until you get an answer - this takes about 25mins - redialing every 3 seconds. That's about 500 calls with a busy signal before you get through. It helps to have an automated program to do this so that you don't...
