Employer letter question please

I'm using the template for the employer letter which was given on the forum. My query is about the first sentence: This is to state that [Applicant name] is presently employed with [Sponsor name] since [Date of commencement of employment in UK with sponsor] and presently holds the job title of [Job ...

I wasn't joining a new course though so now even more confused.

I entered the UK with a student visa from Sep 2004 - Oct 2005. In May 2005 I was granted a residence permit to Nov 2007 (I was advised to apply early as the fee was going to skyrocket). My problem is that I cant seem to recall what the residence permit was issued for and dont have any documentation....

Your mention of the university's visa centre triggered my memory so I'll call to see if they have records before considering postponing my ILR appointment.

Thank you for your help!

Thanks xyz123. It says Limited Leave to remain in the Uk. No recourse to public funds. Able to work as authorised by the Secretary of State. I called UKBA today to check and they asked under what basis that residence permit was issued and I genuinely cant remember. Assuming it must have been as an e...

Salary clarification (codes of practice)

Can someone please clarify whether your salary needs to have been at/above the rate specified in the codes of practice for the entire duration of your tenure?

When I first got my WP I was below but have been at or above for the last 2 years o so.

Thank you very much

ILR application - internship before starting WP

Hello I first came to the UK on a student visa and then changed to a residence permit. When I started my current job I was working as an intern for 6 months before I was given my work permit in August 2006. I just wanted to double check whether this would affect my ILR SET (O) application in any way...
