Rather than complicate things, why don't you just claim the 40 points for the gross earnings which is your reference pay for the month. In my case, I normally get child care vouchers during school holidays, but rather than complicate things by highlighting childcare voucher deductions, I just simply...

Many Thanks, If i go for premium service for main applicant and postal for dependents then? £1,377 + £496 each? is this correct? Your two children cannot apply as your wife's dependent via postal if they are not on 'dependent visa' under your wife. My Wife and 2 Kids are my depandent and we came to...

I believe your continuous period begins when you were issued your new Tier-2 visa, not when you re-entered the UK under Tier-2 visa category. As you did not state when this new visa was issued, it is difficult to tell exactly when it starts to count towards your 5 years continuous residency. Kind re...

Congrats to you. Having received my ILR from Liverpool PEO a couple of weeks ago, I must admit it was less stressful than I thought it would be. People should look at giving this centre a try. If case is straight-forward you are out smiling in less than 2 hours. Moreso, no one bothers to ask for coh...

Re: ILR success at Liverpool on 31/10

Congratulations - all the fuss about cohab docs is over ..... Congrats - I have said it before on this forum. Cohab docs are not necessary for everyone (even though it is mentioned on the application form). From my experience at Liverpool PEO, CW said she didn't need my cohab docs, as my spouse and...

In my case, CW said she did not need to see any documentation for co-hab, as my wife and I have been living in the country since we arrived in 2008. This was contrary to the view I had on this forum that co-hab docs are a "must" for ILR application. This makes perfect sense to me. Why woul...

The process in Liverpool PEO is; 1. You wait your turn for your documents to be checked. 2. Next you are put through to another cubicle for payment. 3. Then you are called to see a CW who will collect all your documents. 4. You wait for your turn to go for Biometric. 5. Once through with biometric, ...

Claiming Benefits after successful ILR

Hi All,

Just received ILR for myself and my household under Tier-1 General. I want to find out what we are entitled to claim, or point me in the right direction of where I can obtain such information.

Kind regards,

Thanks Thanks. I supplied the offer letter I received from my current employer when I was offered the job...

ILR Success at Liverpool PEO 26th October

Hi All, Just to let you all know that I am very delighted that I have been granted ILR at Liverpool PEO today. Like the tradition on this forum, I want to share my experience with you all. Scenario; 2 years HSMP Visa (21/11/2007 - 21/11/2009) 3 years Tier-1 General Visa (14/12/2009 - 14/12/2012) Arr...

Congrats mate.

When you said photocopying everything, did you photocopy even your payslips, P60s, statements, in addition to the cohab docs?

Would very much like to know, as I did not plan making copies of payslips or P60s.

Kind regards,

Oakleigh,

If your wife returns from her trip, would applying by post be her only option for ILR? Or do you think you may have to book for PEO appointment again? Just curious though.

Re: ILR PEO Appointment without dependants

Unfortunately, I trust the response I would get from this forum than that from UKBA. Probably my last resort, but certainly not my best bet. Thanks anyway. Hi All, Just curious to know what happens if only main applicant attends PEO appointment without dependant(s). Typical is my case where my spouse's been away and just returned back to the UK. Hi Ozair, congrats to you on obtaining your ILR. One question I would like to ask is that must one provide co-habitation evidence if applying with dependants. Is it a requirement? The only document we have in joint names is Council Tax. The second question is, do you have to provide an absence sheet...

Hi Guys, Just one last question for those going to apply under HSMP 2 years and Tier 1 3 years ... Section 9 G. Page 35 of the form Set (O) Did you tick G1 or not? Thanks! Re: Payment in lieu of Annual Leave counted as earnings?

Hi, Please can someone advise if the payment made in lieu of annual leave not taken considered as earnings for the purpose of points calculation. Thanks, Kapil You may have a problem here as it is no longer legal for an employer to make a payment in lieu of annual leave: From the Direct Gov website...
