I received my certificate of naturalisation and have a couple of questions I hope you could help clarify: 1) I have not applied for the British Passport yet. Can I still use my ILR if I need to travel? 2) I currently travel with 2 passports as my ILR in the old passport. I understand that when apply...

travel after submission of AN

Can you advise on this question please:

Does the travel that happen after I submit my application for BC count to 90 days rule (90 days in the last 12 months)? What is the max amount of travel I can conduct while my application is being processed?

Many thanks for your help!

unemployed Good Character

I currently hold ILR and soon would like to apply for the BC. The problem is that I recently lost the job whereas for the past 4+ years had been fully employed and paid the taxes. So, even tough I'm currently very actively looking, it seems like it's going to take some time to find one. My questions...

Any disadvantage in filing for unemployment benefit?

I have the ILR (permanent resident). I just lost my job. Can you let me know please:

1. Am I eligible to file for Unemployment benefit?

2. Filing for Unemployment benefit will affect the process of applying and getting the UK citizenship?

Thank you for your help!

ILR stamp in the pasport that is about to expire

I got my ILR stamp in the pasport that is about to expiry. After I get a new pasport, would I need to apply for the new ILR stamp at the HO or embassy, or I can travel with both pasports where ILR is stamped in the old pasport?

Thank you for your help!

Thank you Sushdmehta.

If I understand it correctly, once the BRP gets issued, I'd not need to apply for Tier 2 visa to be stamped into my pasport because BRP is sort of a replacement for visa stamp. Can you confirm please that my understanding is correct.

Thank you so much!!!

Thank you Sushdmehta! I'm trying to understand how best I could get Tier 2 visa stamp in my pasport. My issue is: because of the trips to come I can't afford to be without pasport for long period of time. If I apply at PEO, do I get a visa stamp over there? If not, what is the procedure of obtaining...
