I don't think it should be a big issue regardless of what law says if you can convince the immigration officer on counter. I visited just before my visa ran out and was allowed as I satisfied the visa officer convincingly.

In my personal view it is discrimination, if not entirely illegal to not allow one half of students to not work where as other are allowed. If UKBA is so much concerned, why don't they shut these colleges at once ? Any one have any knowledge if this law has been challenged or going to be challenged ...
