Hi all i have been waiting for 8 weeks now for any kinda response. Applied same day service, all docs were ok , said will send for further enquiry, no information so far please keep on posting about the time scales after application is held on premium service.

same has happened with me i applied same day, on 5th july and still waiting. Dont know whats happening with my application. they did not give any letter or receipt and just said it will take 2-3 weeks but i am now 7 weeks in the waiting game. any way to chase the file.

every solicitor has its own style mate so depends what ur solicitor says to you. but it is very much debatable rule with too many open loops. so try and fine a good solicitor to handle your case.

finally today i got my ILR. so far i didnt openly said any thing about my situation. actually i am working as chef in a big chain of hotels. my salary is £14k per annum. i applied 13th of last month and got my ILR on 13th of June... one of my friend who applied and got his ILR couple of weeks back...

also this new rule is crap. govt has asked the employers to pay us more which they will never do.
They must ask employees to take solicitors with them to the GM office saying pay me more as per the code of practice, but shame thats the way home office works.
