Hi, Yes your options are these two however the EA FP is easier option. For the process, your wife can apply for it herself once married. The British High Commission may want to see a notarised copy of your marriage certificate. As far as i am aware UK dosent recognise religious marriages. The legisl...

I havent seen or heard any thing new in terms of requirements. You both will have to prove your identities and nationalities. If you are free from immigration control, then your partner's polish ID card will be fine. Some registrars are not well equipped with the knowledge on EEA Regualtions and may...

Yes, this is a residnce card for family memvber of EU citizen on an ISD which bears my photo and usual security features. I am familiar with MARAX but dosent hurt to read it thoroughly again. Thank you Directive. Very helpful advice. I will print it off.
We were married in UK earlier this year and yes we both have plenty to prove excercising treaty rights. I have work ID as working for a local authority and letter from UKBA.
Will do a test run and let you know how it went.

Regards
Ken

Punjab, Actually there is no set documentation required to prove that your wife has been a job seeker. Self declaration for such a short period is sufficient. What UKBA need to judge is that EEA national and the spouse/family member have been resident in UK without being an unreasonable burden on th...

Punjab, The right of residence for family member of EEA national does not end regardless of any stamp in the passport. This can happen in a few circumstances 1. S/he stops being a family, EEA national stops exercising treaty rights or returns to another member state/elsewhere. 2. Serious public safe...

if you keep your passport more than i think 2 weeks check that in theire web site will take longer because it will return to the position one. Berber, there is no such thing like this. A letter requesting passports normally gives 21 days or otherwise. After that time, they may still consider it but ...

RC duration depends upon case. If an RC is acquired as family member of EU juvenille citizen, the the RC will be valid only until the said person turns 16 or 18 (sorry cannot remember which one). Second example is if applicant is a carer for a child or another EU citizen, again RC can be of a difere...

Sorry to hear about your problems. Legally as long as you are legally married, you will have no restrictions in staying in UK. As for border control, all they need to know is that your husband is in UK and is exercising treaty rights. As he is Irish citizen he may have different rules applied to him...

The time is calculated from the date UKBA recieved your application. If there are no additional investigations in your case then it should be decided within 6 months. Nearing to 6 months or after that time, you can write to them threatening legal action if they have not processed your application. H...

I know how you feel, it is frustrating at the least. Church usually wants you to be a member of the church for a few months or so. Wrong advise given again. If you have been married for 3 years before divorce proceedings have been issued, you will retain the right to PR. UKBA have already seen your partners/spouse's papers therefore may only want to see that the treaty rights are exercised. You do not need your spouse to help y...
