Submitted in person- 02/03/2012 scanned- 08/05/2012 Granted/printed- 14/05/2012 Received at Birmingham- 24/05/2012 The process is considerably slower at Birmingham Well I've been waiting for 10 days after submitting in person at London and it still shows 'Under Process' - so yours was quick :)

Got my brown letter of approval in the mail today, was dated 12th October. I applied 11th July so it took 3 months for them to approve & post the letter. And 9 days for the letter to arrive !

Two families I know got their approval letters yesterday. They both applied in last weeks of July. I applied in mid july and nothing yet. Perhaps as someone mentioned - they go alphabetically by last name.

They do tell you that 95% of the cases are dealt within 6 months so I guess you'd have to wait at least six months before involving anyone outside ...

UKBAT website says that last year only 2% of applications made using NCS were unsuccessful. This compares with 10% refusals for other applications does anyone know what are the common reasons for rejecttions? UKBA is driving me mad.. Well in April / May I noticed people getting their cards or accounts debited/charged within days of the application submission. Right now it took UKBA more than 3 weeks to do the charge for an application submitted in mid July - so clearly a very big slowdown in the entire process. If it takes them ...

didn't want to use NCS because of the large amount of supporting documents I also had to send. The woman at NCS Harrow said there were few documents that people needed - essentially just passport + LIUK test pass certificate - if you were applying via WP/ILR route My passport(s) had plenty of entry...
