Your 5 years started from the date of your entry, not your start date of visa. 28 days before 25-02-2012 only leaves you couple of days to apply ILR before your current leave expires. Tight.

I am going to apply for my ILR next week, I am on a contract with my employer and the employment letter states I am still required for the job until xxx 2012.
I’ve seen all the employment letter stating “Mr xx is still required for a foreseeable futureâ€
