I have PEO appointment on 5th April morning for myself only. I will post three dependant applications on the same day in the afternoon by post to avoid higher fee from 6th April. Questions in the dependant forms: M1: Are you applying for the leave at the same time as the PBS main applicant? Answer: ...

It is not necessary to have the BRP before dependants can apply. You should mention reference number of this last successful application and they should avoid overstaying.

Marriage Certificate - Translation

I am a Tier 1 General Migrant. Last year Embassy in Abu Dhabi accepted English translation of our Marriage Certificate when my wife applied as a dependent from Pakistan. Most embassies in Pakistan accept translation from the company my wife got it from. Now at the time of extension, is it mandatory ...

I am on tier 1 and have mortgage. In fact HSBC told me that if you can prove your income sources even if your income is coming from abroad, then too you can buy a property on mortgage. However other conditions apply. For example HSBC gives you a mortgage unless you have settled status. Some banks gi...

Yes but UKBA informs you only a month before the effective date that the fee for your dependants applying separately will increase from 561 to 1545. So if you have three dependants (like I have), you will pay extra 2952. I think UKBA is mistaken here, they probably think that we have few oil wells b...

I think Paragraph 94 of the Tier 1 (G) Guidance applies to this. Amounts transferred from your business account to your personal account are now net profits.

Amounts not yet transferred from business to your current account will still be considered by UKBA but only after tax.

I told her my current visa expiry date is 08-03-2013 and it should start from 08-03-2013 till 08-03-2015 but she said as per new rules the expiry date will be exactly after 2 years from the date decision made and it wont be any issue for ILR. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/work...

2. Well it will £578, it is there in the link you have given. Just checked as per this document, £578 is for 'main' not for dependent. Yes @smandala.in, this line is worrying me now. ''For PBS dependents applying individually the relevant main applicant fee is payable." which means the fee wil...

Yeah it is a bit confusing, but in the whole new fee documents, £561 comes four times and for all of them, the increment is £17 which is 3% making it a total of £578

Just like there is a 3% increment in main applicant's fee which is £45. £1500 to £1545!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I was confused about this. But a member pointed above that it is £578 which is in non PBS list. So I have concluded that applying separately is just an application for LEAVE TO REMAIN for which the fee is £561 and it will be £578 from 6th April. I still wish if one of the seniors comment on this.

Thanks alot. I didn't see this £578. I thought its £1159 and having three dependents it would have cost me extra £598 (£1159-£561) for each dependent. Thanks buddy.

UKBA Fee for 2013 & Tier 1 (G) Renewal (Main + Dependent

For Tier 1 (G) renewal, I have booked an appointment for 5th April. I will pay £1800 fee. I was planning to send applications of three dependents by post on 9th or 10th of April. So that l could pay £561 x 3 for them. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/working/tier1/general/cost/ 1....
