ILR for a friend's wife

My friend got HSMP in April 2008. He is continuously living in the UK since then and will apply for ILR in March 2013. He and his wife entered in the UK in June 2008. His wife stayed with him in the UK initially for 13 months, then she went back home and lived there for around 15 months. She came to...

I repeat If I put myself in your shoes, I will write them immediately and will give them the above link explaining that I was in impression that I could apply between 15 Oct and 15 Nov in order to get extension from expiry date of previous leave instead from date of appointment. By writing UKBA, you...

WHEN TO APPLY (This is in Tier 1 (G) Section) http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/working/tier1/general/applying/when-to-apply/ So, in order to avoid an extra extension, you can apply within last one month of your permitted stay. And in fact if you're late, you can still apply withi...

I understand some of above may not be necessary in extension. Include a print of points calculator if possible (not mandatory). Seems perfect, Good luck!

My visa is also expiring in May 2013. I also planned to apply in January 2013 but after detailed research on this forum, I decided to apply within last 28 days only. I have seen there are cases where applicants got visa from previous visa expiry date when they applied nearly four months earlier. The...

She will have to apply before her own visa expires. If you are applying at PEO, then to save money, you should apply first and after approval, she can apply by post If you are applying by post, you can apply first yours only, obviously her visa will be expiring before you get your passport back. So ...

Don't pick only the easiest one. The paragraph you are quoting is for family members only and is not mentioning that it is in addistion to funds required by main migrant. Whereas other paragraphs show it clearly. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/out-of-country/documents-t1-gen...
