You can try calling them and all they will is that whether you have been waiting for more than six months or not? If not then they will say that they cannot tell you anything about it. if you have an urgent need for travel, send them a letter by post explaining your need to travel and a polite reque...

No way to get a status update. You have to wait...I am sure if the letter sent by your employer addresses in detail what the Home Office asked for, you will be fine. Just a matter of patience. I have gone through this and can understand your frustration. Hope you hear back with the good news soon. I...

Any complications in your case? You seem to be collecting very comprehensive documentation.

Re: ILR PEO deferred Apps - Further checks/Additional docs c

did you submit bank statments and your travel expences details which was paid by your company ? or just a letter which you enclosed in this link ? I only submitted the additional letter from my company and a copy of my contract of employment. That's all and it was sufficient and provided what UKBA ...

Hello I just returned from Croydon PEO, exhausted and shell shocked. Hi Jaskiratbaweja.. I thought so.. So whats your gut feeing for my case? Did you provide any Cover letter explaining absences? I think since none of the absences is greater than 90 days and they can probably excuse paid leave allowance. You should get a positive decision but UKBA is not very consis...

It is probably a typo. The absence limit is 180 days in 5 years. Defined in the http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/policyandlaw/modernised/cross-cut/ilr-calculating-continuous/ilr-calculating-continuous.pdf?view=Binary However it says Holidays consistent with Paid Leave and Shor...

UKBA is very unhelpful with regards to providing status updates. They go by the book and I have not seen anybody being able to get a useful update by calling the expensive 0870 number. It is just a waste of money especially if you have been waiting for less than 6 months. However, if you need to exp...

Re: Absence more than 180 days out of UK

Next month I am applying for ILR and I just checked new form which was released on 29th of Feb 2012 regarding the continuous stay in the UK. Number of Absences (Paid Annual Leave) = 125 unpaid stay out of country= 79 continuous days. (during this period I was unemployed and it was my first year of ...

Yes, I will be posting my tier 1 extension application on monday. There is no consistency with UKBA on how they deal with absences and luck did not favour me. One of my colleague got ILR with 450 + day absence ( with 2 absence more than 90 days) but not me. Our cases were exactly similar. Anyways, ...

Folks, I got my documents back and my ILR has been refused. They have not given the right to appeal. I had absence of 339 days ( around 240 business trip and 99 leave). The reason for rejection is not not spending continuous 5 years as I had two absence of more than 90 days. Even though the absence...
