On my wife's application we couldn't remember the exact date so we put month and year. In additional info she wrote she remembers it being just before Christmas i.e. mid to late December and the NCS said that was fine.

My wife applied via NCS and Liverpool received the application on 14th March and the fee has still not been deducted so I wouldn't panic just yet.

I think at least one spouse must be domiciled or at least habitually resident in Pakistan but as Batleykhan says there was a post on here a few months ago where someone divorced his wife whilst both were on a visit there. With regards official statements the best are those that you receive in the post. Even the ones you can get in branch look like those you can print off from online banking, but you could always get the branch to stamp them as certified copies to be on the safe side.
