Re: slight mistake on naturalisation certificate

Hi folks I just got my naturalisation certificate and noticed a slight mistake on it. My surname is John-Smith but on the certificate it's John- Smith. Do you think this slight mistake can cause the IPS to reject my passport application. Any suggestions would be appreciated Ask the question to UKBA...

Whatever the name change, provide it in full in the 'name at birth' field and supply supporting evidence like: a deed poll, a marriage certificate, a birth certificate - whichever is applicable. I do not see the issue here. We have provided the Marriage Certificate which has her name at birth. Anyo...

Naturalisation application from India - urgent please.

Hi,

Is it possible to apply for UK naturalisation from India? If so how many days you can be in India before your application becomes invalid (due to numbers of days absent).

This is for Spouse of British citizen.

Have no experience myself but would think you can sign on behalf of your child. I don't think you need to provide any supporting document as all that you ask is for the HO to search their records for that person name / DOB and confirm they have no record of him naturalised/registered. If you wish, ...
