Right of Abode for baby born in UK - Parents in T1(G)

Hello Friends, We recently had our 2nd baby last month. We (both myself and my partner) are currently in T1(G) with ILR applicable from Mar 2016. My question is can we apply for RoA-CoE after our settlement? We intend to get Indian passport for our 2nd baby also. If not applicable, can we get Regist...

Hi Hope this clears it for you guys: 1) Self Employed in Pvt business/Sole Trader: Show your Gross Salary + Net profits 2) Limited Company as Director (This as per HMRC you are employed) : Show your Gross Salary + Gross Dividends. I find the Option 2) is much easier and less hassle to work around. T...

Hi All BalajiSundaram: Agreed. This is what I said exactly in my earlier post. Thanks for interpreting the same way I have done. The way it works is as long as your uni/school meets the requirement as per PBS calculator it implies its part of UK Naric and hence it mirrors qualification similar to UK...

Hi Technically speaking you should be OK, however given the recent changes I would suggest you cover all angles possible. Your accountant can prepare an interim company document when you go to PEO. From HMRC point of view and as per tax laws Senna is different from his limited company. You are emplo...

Hi, Option 1: You go to PEO and your case is straight fwd. Assuming you will get only two years extension in 2014 on your 2nd extension, you will qualify for ILR 28 days before your fifth anniversary (i.e) 28-Dec-2016. I suggest you apply for your 3rd Extension right around 14-Nov-2016 and then vary...

Hi,

The guidance/rule does not explicitly state nor its implied you need to be employed all the time. As long as you meet the required points through combination of income/age/experience etc., you will be fine. Also ensure you have not claimed any benefits will under T1-G

Hi,

I think you guys are worrying un-necessarily, as long as you have genuine earnings and the right documentation its no big deal. UKBA can make as many checks as they wish.

If you are in grey area, you have been fore-warned :)

I don't believe this should be a problem. Just ask this question (to yourself), does the tier-1 dependent have to be born in the post code where you reside ? Is that a legal requirement?

Assuming you came within 90 days of your visa issue date I presume you should be fine.

Also I think your first absence will be split across two years., depending upon when u received EC.
